Caucasus University was established in 1998 with the founding of the Caucasus School of Business. The university is guided by its motto, “Studium Pretium Libertatis,” which means “Knowledge is the Foundation of Freedom.”
The university is recognised for its high-quality education, international academic programmes, and industry-oriented teaching approach. Its faculty comprises highly qualified professionals, many of whom have received training and recognition through internationally accredited institutions.
Caucasus University consists of several schools, including Business, Law, Media, Technology, Architecture and Design, Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tourism, Medicine and Healthcare Management, Economics, and Education. In accordance with Georgian legislation, the university is authorised to award Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral, and Medical Doctor degrees. It also operates a dedicated training centre that offers a range of professional certification programmes.
The Undergraduate Programme in Tourism at Caucasus University has been awarded the prestigious TEDQUAL Certificate by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). This achievement made it the first programme in Georgia and one of the first in the region to receive this distinction.
